According to DraftKings, New York Mets slugger, Pete Alonso has the best odds to win the 2022 MLB Home Run Derby.
The Tampa Bay Lightning failed to complete the Stanley Cup three-peat just a few weeks ago. Tonight, the Mets’ Pete Alonso will try for the three-peat at MLB’s Home Run Derby and the oddsmakers have him as the betting favorite at +200. He will be matched up with the Braves Ronald Acuna Jr. (+650) in the first round.
The annual summer event the night before the MLB All-Star Game kicks off Monday at 8:00 pm EST from Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles and the Mets’ slugger is currently fourth in the Majors with 24 home runs through 92 games. Phillies left fielder Kyle Schwarber is second in the Majors with 29 home runs and has the second-best odds at +330, according to DraftKings. He will take on the sentimental favorite, Albert Pujols (+2200), who is currently playing his final season.
