The 2023 ATP World Tour Finals are here. Can you believe the tennis season just went by like that? The tournament is underway already. So these are the live updated odds listed below on who has the chance to win the tournament and walk out with the year-end championship.
It is not a given that the best player in the world walks out with the championship. After a difficult three-match round-robin, the semifinals and finals are played on back-to-back days. Again, it is all about who you match up with in the semifinals. But whoever is playing the best will lift the year-end championship.
After a grueling summer hardcourt season, which led to indoor tournaments in Asia and wrapping up with the Indoor Paris Rolex Masters, where Novak Djokovic took home the title with his record-extending seventh Rolex Paris Masters title and his record-extending 40th Masters 1000 crown and even with his three-set loss to Jannik Sinner on Tuesday, he is still the oddsmakers’ favorite to win the title at +180.
Many people are hoping to see Carlos Alcaraz in the final as well against Djokovic. This would be a culmination of the 2023 tennis season in a nutshell. However, Alcaraz has his work cut out for him. After dropping his opening match to Alexander Zverev, he was able to rebound with a win against Andrey Rublev, who fell to 0-2. Alcaraz is 1-1 and will meet Daniil Medvedev.
Again, you never know what can happen in a best-of-three tournament. You need to be at your best every single match.

Stefanos Tsitsipas
Out of the Tournament, replaced by Hubert Hurkacz
Stefanos Tsitsipas is out of the tournament after in an injury in yesterday’s match against Rune. Hurkacz will try to play a spoiler against Djokovic. However, that will be very difficult. He has been sitting on the sidelines watching.
As for the rest of the tournament, there is a reason why Alcaraz was so slow. One, he was dealing with injuries, and two, he was on a three-match losing streak. Meanwhile, Daniil Medvedev is listed even higher than Alcaraz because of his play on hard courts. He is the hardcourt specialist, after all.
Medvedev had a tough match-up on Wednesday as he beat Alexander Zverev in straight sets 76 64. However, a shot here or there and it is Zverev that wins the match in straights. Not that he is into the semifinals going 2-0 and not dropping a set. His odds will increase even more. But he has a big class with Alcaraz coming up next.
Again, Sinner had a big win against Djokovic and will probably see him again down the road. He was able to win a title in Bejing this fall. And Sinner has the game to play with anyone. The question is, can he do it consistently? He had to dig deep against Novak on Tuesday, but he found a way in a third-set tiebreak.
Rune has some time off now to let his body recover. Throughout the season, we have seen Rune’s body breakdown, so this time off will do him good, though a long shot to win. Again, anything can happen at the year-end tournament. But all eyes will be on this afternoon because that will determine a lot moving forward.
The 2023 ATP World Tour Finals continues on Wednesday and runs through Sunday, and before you know it will be time for the 2024 Australian Open. Stay tuned for more from Full Press Bets and Full Press Coverage.
