The 2023 US Open has reached the final weekend. The Women’s Final is set as Coco Gauff will take on Aryna Sabalenka on Saturday night inside Arthur Ashe Stadium. The men’s final will be set Friday evening as Novak Djokovic takes on Ben Shelton, while Carlos Alcaraz takes on Daniil Medvedev. Check that out here.
But the women’s semifinals lived up to the hype. Gauff was dominant in her 6-4 7-5 straight-sets win over Karolina Muchova, despite the protesters holding up the match for about 40 minutes. Yes, Gauff had some ups and downs in the match. She needed six match points to close the match out, but she got it done.
In the other semifinal, Sabalenka had to rally from a set and 5-3 down to defeat Madison Keys in three straights including a third-set match tiebreak. Keys was dominating Sabalenka. She had two chances to win the match. Serving for it in the second set up 5-4 and then again needing to break serve in the third up 5-4. Sabalenka had to dig deep to find her game that was not there. It was a late night for the crowd who saw a great match.
Full Press Bets and Coverage has already taken a look at the women’s semifinals for the US Open. Let’s dive into the women’s final as Sabalenka looks for his second major of the year, while Gauff looks for his first.

2023 US Open Final Odds
Coco Gauff (+205) vs Aryna Sabalenka (+172)
The remaining favourites are meeting in the US Open Final. Both are making their first trip to the US Open Final. Sabalenka is looking to bookend the season with wins in Australia and now in New York. While Gauff is looking to continue her spectacular summer by capping it off with her first Grand Slam title. This is Gauff’s second trip to a Major Final and she is more mature than she was at Roland Garros.
Gauff is on a mission this year with her new team in place. Again, everyone talks about Gilbert and what he has done, but she is executing on the court. She won two titles one in Washington and the other in Cincinnati, before coming to New York. She has been efficient and continues to execute her game plan to perfection. She struggled early in her first and third rounds, but after that cruise city. She is the second favorite behind Sabalenka.
Sabalenka showed the heart of a champion in defeating Madison Keys. She did not have her A or B game but found it. As we see with Gauff, who needs to win with her B or C game, Sabalenka needed that in the quarterfinals. Gilbert is teaching Gauff that. However, if Sabalenka gets off to the start she did against Madison Keys against Coco Gauff, this match will be over quickly.
This one has the potential to go three sets. Sabalenka having a win as she did in the semifinals usually propels that player to victory. But Gauff is playing so well right now. This will be a fun match. Americans will want Gauff to reclaim the title.
That does it for your 2023 US Open Women’s Final betting odds preview.
